Float Lab
Port of Oakland 2019-
The FloatLab is a prototype for a floating breakwater/experimental buoy which is deployed in Middle Harbor Shoreline Park located within the Port of Oakland. This prototype, one of the first of its kind, was designed at CCA with Adam Marcus and has been featured on Local News and written about nationally. The project is continuing to be used to monitor the effects of various surfaces to study diverse marine ecologies and promote native species.
